UNTITLED STEVEN LEVITAN/CHRISTOPHER LLOYD PROJECT (ABC, New!) - "Back to You" co-creators Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd have booked a put pilot commitment (with a significant penalty) at the Alphabet for a new single-camera comedy about three families who live in the same suburb, shot documentary-style through the eyes of a Dutch filmmaker, who's returned to the neighborhood after living there as an exchange student 15-20 years ago. The project is set up at 20th Century Fox Television, where the pair have an overall deal. As for specifics, it's understood the families are as follows: "one comprised of a working dad, stay-at-home mom and two kids; another that includes a 60-year-old man who becomes a stepfather after marrying a Latina who is 30 years his junior; and the third, a gay couple who have just adopted a Vietnamese baby." And while the stories will be told from the filmmaker's perspective, the camera crew will also be featured. Levitan and Lloyd are co-writing the half-hour and will executive produce.
