NEW YORK -- December 12, 2008 Oxygen is pulling back the curtain and revealing all in the world of medi-spas with a new office docu-series, "Addicted to Beauty." As seen through the eyes of the larger than life staff at one of the country's hottest beauty enhancement facilities in California, the eight one -hour episodes examine the young, attractive and broke who come in for spray tans and hits of Botox, to the very wealthy who are looking for tummy tucks and boob jobs. "Addicted to Beauty" will join Oxygen's schedule in 2009. This original series will join previously announced "Dance Your Ass Off" as the network ramps up its original slate of programming. "Addicted to Beauty" and "Dance Your Ass Off" are the first two series from the new development team led by Amy Introcaso-Davis, SVP, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen.

"Obsession with beauty is addictive to watch and "Addicted to Beauty" gives our audience a vicarious glimpse into that fascinating world," said Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President of Programming and Development for Oxygen. From RDF USA, "Addicted to Beauty" is executive produced by Chris Coelen, Greg Goldman, and Mike Duffy for RDF ("Secret Millionaire," "Wife Swap"), Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill ("Millionaire Matchmaker," "Sunset Tan") and Scott Dunlop ("Real Housewives of Orange County").

In addition to "Addicted to Beauty," Oxygen is building on its explosive ratings growth in 2008 with such hit shows as "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" and "Bad Girls Club," which recently premiered as the most-watched and highest-rated season premiere for the network. Oxygen has several projects currently in development including: "Hogs and Heifers" (working title), "The Girls" (wt), "The Naughty Kitchen" (wt) and "Lady and the Champ" (wt). All of these series will be in consideration for slots on the Oxygen schedule.

"This aggressive production and development slate brings the network to an entirely new level, and I'm excited about each of these concepts as we further define the boisterous voice of Oxygen," added Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President of Programming and Development for Oxygen.

"Hogs & Heifers" (wt)

"Hogs & Heifers" is a docu-series following the lives of business owner Michelle Dell and her saucy, foul mouthed, fire blowing bartenders in two of the famous Hogs & Heifers locations, New York and Las Vegas. Sporting low cut jeans and biker boots, we'll find Michelle jumping from the top of her bar and onto her Harley as she balances her business, boyfriend and the race to get pregnant before she turns 40.

"Hogs & Heifers" will follow the unique stories of Michelle, her bartenders, customers, celebrity visitors and motley crew of friends, offering a comprehensive view of the woman behind, and on top, of "Hogs & Heifers." From Embassy Row, "Hogs & Heifers" is executive produced by Michael Davies ("Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," "Wifeswap") Kim Martin, ("Throwdown with Bobby Flay"), Michelle Dell and Doug Sokoloff.

With the help of their mentor, Anastasia Brown, music industry veteran and Nashville royalty, Oxygen will follow the girls as they chase their dreams of country music stardom while bringing sexy back to the country. From Creature Films, "The Girls'" is executive produced by Mark Ford and Kevin Lopez ("Behind the Music", "Family Foreman," "Laguna Beach") as well as Anastasia Brown and Eric Geadelmann of 821 Entertainment.

Blythe Beck, a 28-year old Texas native is the naughty head chef at "Hector's on Henderson" a top-rated Dallas restaurant. She's plus-sized in stature and personality. Oxygen will follow her life running the kitchen and the colorful crew at Hector's, while exploring Beck's personal life beyond the kitchen, with her tell-it-like-it is best friend and hairdresser, Erika, and her after hours escapades with chef-next-door, Cory. From Authentic Entertainment ("Flipping Out," "Ace of Cakes"), "The Naughty Kitchen" is executive produced by Lauren Lexton, Tom Rogan, Brandy Menefee, Brad Hall and Code Entertainment.

"Lady and the Champ" (wt)
