Stephanie March Returns to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

March to Reprise her Role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot for six episodes beginning February 17

NEW YORK - January 9, 2009 - Stephanie March returns to NBC'S Law and Order:SVU to reprise her role as Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot, Executive Producer Neal Baer announced today. March will return for six episodes, beginning Tuesday, February 17, (10-11 p.m. ET/PT).

"We're thrilled to have Stephanie back on SVU. We've missed Alexandra Cabot and are anxious to see her commanding presence in the courtroom again," said Baer.

"SVU is like an old flame. Every time I run into it I think, 'Hmmm.....what if?' I look forward to spending some time working with a production that has always been so rewarding for me," March added.

March starred on SVU for four award-winning seasons, from 2000-2003. She later returned as a guest star in the 2005 episode "Ghost." March also reprised her role as ADA Alex Cabot for the Wolf Films/NBC series "Conviction."

Other recent projects include the upcoming film "This Side of the Truth," co-directed by Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson, and "The Treatment." She also guest-starred on NBC's "30 Rock," ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and FX's "Rescue Me." Recent stage credits include "Talk Radio" and "Boy's Life."

March is repped by The Gersh Agency and One Entertainment.
