TAYLOR SWIFT RECALLS HER REAL-LIFE 'MEAN GIRLS' EXPERIENCE ON "KATIE COURIC'S 'ALL ACCESS' GRAMMY SPECIAL," WEDNESDAY, FEB. 4

"I WOULD GO SIT DOWN AT THE LUNCH TABLE WITH MY FRIENDS AND THEY WOULD GET UP AND MOVE THEIR TRAYS TO ANOTHER," SHE TELLS COURIC

Taylor Swift may only be 19 years old, but as Katie Couric discovers, she is wise beyond her years. In an interview on KATIE COURIC'S ALL-ACCESS GRAMMY SPECIAL, to be broadcast Wednesday, Feb. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, Swift, who at 14 was writing songs for artists twice her age, recalls her real-life "Mean Girls" experience.

"I had a group of friends when I was about 12. [Then] they all just decided they didn't wanna hang out with me anymore. I would go and sit down at the lunch table with my friends. And they would get up and move their trays to another table," she reveals to Couric. But Swift also puts it all in perspective, saying, "had [they] kept me in their group, and I had been the most popular girl in middle school, I would never have been inspired to write one song."

Swift also admits her dark side when she talks about her upcoming appearance on "CSI." "I'm obsessed with crime shows...All my friends know that my dream is to die on 'CSI.' I've always wanted to, like, be one of the characters on there that they're tryin' to figure out what happened to."

While she may still be shooting for her first Grammy win, Swift is closing out her eighth week at the top of the charts with her album Fearless, and she shows Couric why she's one of the industry's hottest artists as she plays guitar for the CBS News anchor. The duo also visit the New York City boutique, Jeffrey's where Swift shows off her fashion sense and her own interview skills when she interviews Couric for her MySpace blog.

"ALL ACCESS" will also feature Couric's interviews with Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Lil' Wayne as well as appearances by Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Metallica and many more. Susan Zirinsky is the executive producer.
