GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Despite endless rumor and speculation, Katherine Heigl is reportedly set to return for the show's upcoming sixth season. Word leaked yesterday that co-star T.R. Knight isn't returning, once again sparking interest in Heigl's status on the show. ABC has yet to confirm either Heigl's return or Knight's exit, however a formal announcement is expected shortly.
NCIS: LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Oscar-winner Linda Hunt ("The Year of Living Dangerously") has joined the cast of the much-ballyhooed spin-off. Her character will "oversee the "backroom" support staff tasked with providing everything from micro surveillance cameras to cars for Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and his team." Hunt's casting, as well as last week's addition of Adam Jamal Craig, is designed to fill the void left by the exit of Loiuse Lombard. No other specifics about the newcomers were given.
