KENRA (E!) - The cable channel has ordered a second season of the Kendra Wilkinson-led reality series. 12 new episodes are set to be produced as well as a three specials. The first, due on August 9, spotlights her wedding to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett. The other two are set for December, when "the couple's first child is due and Kendra moves to New Jersey to live closer to Baskett year-round." The series is reportedly averaging about 2 million viewers each week, double the average of the Sunday, 10:00/9:00c half-hour from last year. Prometheus Entertainment, Alta Loma Entertainment and Fox Television Studios are behind the project, which is executive produced by Kevin Burns.
WORST WEEK (CBS) - Matt Tarses has inked a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. The writer/producer was previously set up at Universal Media Studios where he developed the short-lived CBS comedy "Worst Week." The new pact then calls for him to develop new comedy projects for Sony as well as potentially join one of the studio's existing properties.
