CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS) - Executive producer Ed Bernero has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with ABC Studios. The pact sets up Bernero Productions, the multihypenate's newly launched banner with UTA veteran Rob Kim, at the studio where he'll develop new series projects. In addition, he'll stay on board as showrunner of the CBS drama for the foreseeable future.
LOUIE (FX, New!) - Louis C.K. has quietly completed filming on a comedy pilot for the cable channel about his life as a comedian and divorced father of two. The low-budget project mixes footage from his standup with a single-camera narrative. The network reportedly plans to make a final decision about a series order in the next week or so, with fellow comedy entry "The League" also under consideration. As for specifics, "Louie" tracks the comedian's disastrous dating life as well as his hapless attempts at parenting. Separately, C.K. has booked a multi-episode arc on the sophomore season of NBC's "Parks & Recreation." There he'll play a potential love interest for star Amy Poehler's character.
UNTITLED ROBERT HOFFMAN PROJECT (MTV, New!) - The cable channel has given a series commitment to a new variety show featuring actor/dancer Robert Hoffman ("Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out"). The project is loosely based on Hoffman's web site punchrobert.com, which features the classically trained dancer/hip-hop choreographer playing various characters in comedy bits. He'll also executive produce the half-hour alongside his manager, Michael Baum of Impression Entertainment.
