By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

BREAK OUT KINGS (FOX, New!) - "Prison Break" alums Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora are reteaming for a potential new drama at the network about "ex-fugitives who are recruited to work as U.S. marshals." The pair are penning the hour, which has a script commitment with a penalty attached should it not go to pilot, with Gavin Hood ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine") attached to direct and executive produce. 20th Century Fox Television is the studio attached. As for specifics, the project is "described as a procedural based in [New York City], but the team will move around the country as it works on specific cases."

GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - Former "New Amsterdam" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is the latest addition to the drama pilot, a small screen take on George R.R. Martin's beloved fantasy-book series. He'll play Jaime Lannister, "one of the king's (Mark Addy) guards and a ruthless usurper of the previous king." Also signing on are: Tamzin Merchant ("The Tudors") as Daenerys, an exiled teenage princess; Richard Madden ("Hope Springs") as Robb, Stark's (Sean Bean) eldest son; Iain Glen ("Into the Storm") as Ser Jorah Mormont, a disgraced knight; Alfie Allen ("The Other Boleyn Girl") as Theon, Stark's young ward; Sophie Turner ("Doctor Who") as Sansa, Stark's eldest daughter; and Maisie Williams as Arya, Stark's young tomboy daughter. Kit Harrington, Jennifer Ehle, Jack Gleeson, Peter Dinklage and Harry Lloyd also star in the hour, which begins production in Ireland in October. David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Guymon Casady, Carolyn Strauss, Vincent Gerardis and Martin himself are executive producing.

LOST (ABC) - Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada ("Rush Hour 3") has landed a recurring role on the show's upcoming swan song. He'll play an unspecified character as producers are keeping details under wraps. It's not clear on how many episodes he'll appear.

THE SUNSET LIMITED (HBO, New!) - Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson are set to star in a small screen take on Cormac McCarthy's play of the same name. Jackson plays "a man who saves another man (Jones) from throwing himself in front of a Harlem subway train, [an act that] begins an exchange of ideologies as the two men from different backgrounds debate the worth of their lives." Jones is also directing and executive producing the adaptation from a script by McCarthy. Production begins next month in New Mexico with Barbara Hall producing.

UNTITLED BOBBY BOWMAN PROJECT (FOX, New!) - "My Name Is Earl" alum Bobby Bowman has booked a new multi-camera comedy at the network about "an oddball kid trying to be normal in an eccentric home." The project, which has a premium script commitment, is based at 20th Century Fox Television where Bowman has an overall deal. Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope's newly launched the Chernin Co. is also on board to produce. No other details about the show were given.
