"GLEE" CAST VERSIONS OF "TAKING CHANCES" AND "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" DEBUT ON iTUNES TOP 100 CHART

This week, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television released select songs featured in upcoming episodes of GLEE, including RACHEL BERRY's (Lea Michele) version of Cline Dion's "Taking Chances" and the cast version of Queen's "Somebody To Love." Both tracks, which are available for fans to purchase and download on iTunes, entered the iTunes charts in the Top 100 and join nine songs already available on iTunes, including "Don't Stop Believin'," which shot up to No. 1 after the GLEE preview event, and Michele's "Take A Bow," which peaked at No. 6.

In tonight's not-to-be-missed episode, airing Wednesday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, KURT (Chris Colfer), TINA (Jenna Ushkowitz) and BRITTANY (guest star Heather Morris) tackle the iconic choreography of Beyonc's smash hit "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," and Rachel looks for an opportunity to shine in something other than Glee Club with her version of "Taking Chances."

And in a special advance release of what promises to be fall's biggest anthem, the cast version of Queen's "Somebody To Love," from "The Rhodes Not Taken" episode airing Wednesday, Sept. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), is now available for download and purchase on iTunes.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television will release "Glee: The Music, Volume 1," the first in a series of soundtracks that feature music heard in the first season of the critically acclaimed series on FOX. "Glee: The Music, Volume 1" will feature spectacular renditions of several chart-topping hits, including Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline."

GLEE, the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. Starring Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz, GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
