Two and Out for the CW's "Beautiful Life"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Not even a week into the 2009-10 season and we have our first casualty: The CW's "The Beautiful Life."

The show's second installment drew just 1.09 million viewers on Wednesday, including a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49. More telling: "Life" lost over 60% of "America's Next Top Model's" lead-in (2.84 million viewers, 1.3 rating among adults 18-49).

Unspecified repeats are expected to fill the show's Wednesday, 9:00/8:00c slot effective immediately.

Production had been underway on its seventh episode, leaving four completed installments on the shelf.

Adam Giaudrone and Mike Kelley co-created the series, which was executive produced by Kelley, Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and Karey Burke.
