The bi-coastal celebration will include three and one-half hours of special performances and reports on New Year's celebrations from around the globe, as well as the American tradition of Dick Clark counting down to midnight from Times Square in New York city.

Actress, singer, producer, entrepreneur Jennifer Lopez has sold over 35 million albums worldwide and starred in multiple box office number #1 films, including "Monster-in-Law" and "The Wedding Planner." In 2001 the latter was the nation's top-grossing film, while her album, "J.Lo," was # 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The two simultaneous # 1 honors made Lopez the first woman in history to have a # 1 movie and album in the same week. Prior to taking time off to have children, she was last seen in the feature films "El Cantante," a drama about the life of salsa legend Hector Lavoe, and "Bordertown," opposite Antonio Banderas, both of which she produced. In spring 2010, she will release her latest album, "Love?," on Epic Records and the romantic comedy, "The Back-Up Plan."

Building on the global success of its self-titled debut, Daughtry entered the chart at #1 with its second album, "Leave This Town." The album's first single, "No Surprise," is the group's fourth #1 hit, extending an extraordinary run of #1 singles that began with its Grammy-nominated, quintuple-platinum debut. The band's new single, "Life After You," is following the same path. The quintet launched its first-ever arena tour this fall and will perform everywhere from Michigan to Florida and Oklahoma to North Carolina before making stops at the American Music Awards and Salvation Army's 2009 Red Kettle Dallas Cowboy Thanksgiving Day Game.

One week after the most talked-about season finale of ABC's "The Bachelor," Melissa Rycroft stepped onto the dance floor in heroic fashion on "Dancing with the Stars." Rycroft "waltzed" her way into America's hearts and into a third-place finish on Season Eight of the hit ABC series. Previously she was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and appeared on two seasons of CMT's "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team." In her latest endeavor, Rycroft joined ABC News as a special contributor for "Good Morning America," delivering fun and uplifting stories from across the country.

The specials are presentations of dick clark productions, inc. with Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest and Orly Adelson serving as executive producers. Larry Klein produces.
