GENERATION Y (ABC, New!) - "The Unusuals" creator Noah Hawley is back in business with the Alphabet, this time for a new drama about "a group of people in the present with flashbacks to 10 years ago when they were in their senior year of high school." ABC has given a pilot order to the docu-style project, which is based on the Scandinavian series "God's Highway." Hawley penned the ABC Studios-based hour and is executive producing alongside Warren Littlefield as well as Henrik Bastin, Peter Magnasson and Martin Piersson of Stockholm-Copenhagen Productions.

THE WHOLE TRUTH (ABC) - Tom Donaghy's drama script has received the go ahead to produce a pilot. The legal drama is "focused on showing evenly both the defense and the prosecution as they build and try a case." Warner Bros. Donaghy and KristieAnne Reed then will serve as co-executive producers.
