NEW DAILY SHOW "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD LIVE" COMES TO DAYTIME THIS FALL
One-Hour Live Series From The Producers of "Access Hollywood"
Set To Debut on the NBC Local Media Stations
BURBANK, CA - March 2, 2010 - A new, one-hour daily entertainment news talk show, "Access Hollywood Live," is set to premiere on NBC Local Media stations' daytime schedule in September 2010, it was announced today by Barry Wallach, President, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution and John Wallace, President, NBC Local Media.
"Access Hollywood Live" will premiere on six NBC Local Media stations including WNBC-TV New York, KNBC-TV Los Angeles, WMAQ-TV Chicago, KNTV-TV San Francisco, KNSD-TV San Diego and WVIT-TV Hartford.
"Access Hollywood Live" will focus on the latest celebrity dish, opinions, Hollywood happenings and all the day's big news. The new show, which will be broadcast live, will feature in-studio guests, a cast of regular contributors and female-friendly segments on the most up-to-date styles, fashion, design trends and more. Executive Producer Rob K. Silverstein and the experienced "Access Hollywood" production team will produce "Access Hollywood Live" from Los Angeles.

"Access Hollywood," which is currently in its 14th season in national syndication, was recently renewed by the NBC Local Media group through 2014. "Access Hollywood" is currently averaging 2.5 million viewers a day, making it the #2 entertainment newsmagazine in syndication, representing a 5% increase versus the same period last season and the largest growth among all entertainment newsmagazines, according to Nielsen Media Research. In the target daytime demographic of Women 25-54, "Access Hollywood" is up 7% year-to-year, more than any other entertainment newsmagazine.
