DISCOVERY HEALTH PRESENTS UNFAITHFUL: STORIES OF BETRAYAL
In the United States, more than 50% of marriages end in divorce, and of those, nearly 65% involve infidelity. UNFAITHFUL, an all-new hour-long program on Discovery Health Channel premieres Sunday, April 4 at 9 PM (ET/PT,) followed by the network premiere of THE SECRET LIFE OF TIGER WOODS: A DATELINE SPECIAL at 10 PM (ET/PT). UNFAITHFUL is an inside look at 2 couples marriages and infidelity from the perspective of the cheater and those they affected. The special takes a look at why spouses have cheated and the reckless actions that lead to devastating consequences. UNFAITHFUL will also provide insight and analysis from doctors as well as feature couples and their moments of honesty and acceptance.
About the couples featured on the program:
* Cheryl and Jeff: Married 10 years with twin girls. Cheryl began affair with co-worker, who convinced her to divorce Jeff, but their relationship did not turn out as she had hoped. After Cheryl's devastating infidelity, will Jeff take her back?
* Sue and Lee: Married in September 2002. The couple had difficulty adapting to living together and a series of pregnancies and miscarriages created tension in their marriage. Sue began to have an affair with her ex-boyfriend-but at the same time, she and Lee continue to try to have a baby. She became pregnant-but was unsure of who the father was.
