Winners Revealed on 'NewNowNext Awards' 2010 Telecast Premiering Thursday, June 17th at 10/9C on Logo

NEW YORK, May 12 -- Logo, the entertainment network for gays, lesbians and their families and friends announced the co-hosts for the 2010 "NewNowNext Awards." Actress/comedienne Niecy Nash and actor Cheyenne Jackson are set to co-host the third annual "NewNowNext Awards." Logo also announced musicians Little Boots, Agnes and Dan Black are set to perform for the "NewNowNext Awards" in front of a live audience at the retro-glam Edison in Downtown Los Angeles on June 8th.

Niecy Nash, currently a contender on "Dancing with the Stars," shows she is always on the cutting edge of what's the best thing to happen in pop-culture. For example, her edgy and hilarious performance as "Raineesha Williams" in the comedy series "Reno 911!" quickly became a pop culture mainstream hit. Her current role as Celebrity Panelist on CBS' "The Insider" shows Nash will always know what will be the hits of tomorrow with her exclusive access in entertainment news. Nash is also Producer and Host to Style Network's home makeover show "Clean House."

Cheyenne Jackson, currently on NBC's "30 Rock" as fresh-faced, Canadian street performer "Danny Baker," is also a powerhouse presence on Broadway, with starring roles in "Finian's Rainbow," "Damn Yankees" and "Xanadu." Cheyenne is an international ambassador for amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) and a national ambassador and spokesperson for HMI (The Hetrick-Martin Institute). A past "NewNowNext Awards" presenter and nominee, and through his diverse and award-winning career in stage, film and television, Jackson is the epitome of "New," "Now" and "Next."

Brit import Little Boots, or Victoria Hesketh, has recently become one of the United Kingdom's most buzz-worthy new music artists with her groundbreaking hits "Remedy," "Meddle" and "Earthquake." Known for her melodic, electro-pop-meets-disco tunes and the use of her trademarked Tenori-on synthesizer, Little Boots is already garnering a reputation as the future of dance-pop music.

Small-town girl turned European dance diva Agnes will also take the stage at Logo's "NewNowNext Awards." The 21-year old songstress won Sweden's "Pop Idol" when she was just 17 years old and is about to take the U.S. by storm with her chart topping dance hit "Release Me." Quickly a number one hit at the clubs, the track is taking off at mainstream radio and is sure to position Agnes as one of the bright starts of 2010. Agnes' American album is set to debut Summer 2010.

Brit pop-artist, Dan Black, turned the music world upside-down when he hit the scene with his breakthrough hits "HYPNTZ" and "Symphonies" (featuring Kid Cudi) taken from his debut album titled ((un)) , which is available in the U.S. via The:Hours Records. His American television debut at the "NewNowNext Awards" will show the U.S. music scene that he is one of the brightest new musicians to watch in 2010. With his unique style of alternative ballads incorporating the best sensibilities of rap, R&B, electronic pop and rock, inspired from the past 30 years, plus an extensive and varied record collection, Black blurs various genres into a refreshing new, unique sound.

Now in its third year, this influential awards show is about discovering today what will be trending next year. To that end, the "NewNowNext Awards" gathers icons and stars-on-the-rise to crown the next "big things" in TV, music, film, print and new media long before they hit the mainstream. Visitors can go now to NewNowNext.com to review the nominees and vote for their favorites.

Winners will be revealed Thursday, June 17th at 10/9C, on Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" 2010 show. The 90-minute special will be taped in front of a live audience of today's hottest emerging and seasoned artists at the retro-glam Edison in Downtown Los Angeles on June 8th. Performers, presenters and special guests will be announced as they are confirmed.

"NewNowNext Awards" is Executive Produced by Christopher Willey and Dave Mace for Logo. Michael Dempsey of Dempsey Productions serves as Executive Producer and Director.
