NEW YORK, July 21 -- A storm's a-brewin' as COMEDY CENTRAL makes waves for Roastee David Hasselhoff. The network announced today that Emmy-nominated "Family Guy" creator, animator, actor, director and singer Seth MacFarlane will join the elite family of COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Masters as he heads up an all-star lineup of Roasters who reign paramount in their respective arenas, including the world's most bonafide sex symbol, bone crushing wrestler, controversial talk show host and ruthless comedic masterminds. The "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of David Hasselhoff" tapes at Sony Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 1. The "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of David Hasselhoff" airs on Sunday, August 15 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

This year's Roasters include Pamela Anderson, Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, George Hamilton, Hulk Hogan, Lisa Lampanelli, Jeffrey Ross and Jerry Springer. Additional Roasters and talent will be in attendance.

The "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of David Hasselhoff" will be executive produced and directed by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who was also executive producer and director of the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Joan Rivers," "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Larry The Cable Guy," "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Bob Saget," "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Flavor-Flav," the Emmy-nominated "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of William Shatner" and the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Pamela Anderson." Larry Thompson will also serve as executive producer. He previously held the title of co-executive producer on the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Joan Rivers." Elizabeth Porter is the executive in charge for the network.
