UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 29, 2010 - Rocker and winner of NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice," Bret Michaels, and hit-making Mercury Recording artist Taio Cruz from the U.K. will perform on the next live results show of NBC's "America's Got Talent" on Wednesday, August 4 (9-10 p.m. ET).

On last night's show, Debra Romer, Studio One Young Beast Society, Haspop and Jeremy Vanschoonhoven made it through to the semi-finals, which begin on Tuesday, August 24 (9-11 p.m. ET).

Michaels, winner of this past season's "The Celebrity Apprentice" will perform his signature song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" on Wednesday, August 4, which Miley Cyrus recently re-recorded for her new album. Michaels' "Rock of Love" television series is one of the most successful in VH1's history. With three record breaking seasons under his belt, Michaels is currently embarking on several other television projects, including the upcoming VH1 show "Bret Michaels: Life as You Know It" this fall.

As front man for the legendary rock band Poison, Michaels has sold 25 million records and scored an amazing 15 chartbusting Top 40 singles, including "Talk Dirty to Me," "Something to Believe In," "Nothing But a Good Time" and the timeless #1 smash "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." In the new millennium Poison's music has been featured in such big screen flicks as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Grandma's Boy" and "Deuce Bigelow-European Gigolo." They continue to be one of the industry's top-grossing concert attractions and their "20 Years of Rock" CD was a bona fide Top 20 smash. Michaels' new CD "Custom Built" is in stores now and is the #1 independent and hard rock album on Billboard.

Cruz, 25, is an accomplished multi-instrumental musician whose multi-platinum debut single "Break Your Heart" (featuring Ludacris) has exploded into the record books at #1 and scored the Billboard Hot 100's biggest one-week jump to #1 (from #53) by any New Artist's debut single in the chart's history. Cruz's second single, "Dynamite", which he'll perform on "America's Got Talent," is proving to be the summer anthem, is currently #2 on the Itunes singles overall chart, #1 on the Itunes singles pop chart, and has just gone platinum, selling over one million copies.

In less than two years, Cruz has become the go-to producer and songwriter for an A-list of American and U.K. performers such as Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis, Shayne Ward, Britney Spears and Brandy. The year climaxed at the MOBO Awards with a Best Single nomination for "She's Like a Star," where Cruz performed with Sugababes. The son of a Nigerian father and Brazilian mother, Cruz is the founder and CEO of his own Rokstarr Entertainment Division (R.E.D.), formerly known as Rokstarr Music London, established in 2006. Cruz's U.S. debut album, ROKSTARR, is out now.
