ABC FAMILY'S "CHATTERBOX" IPAD APPLICATION NOW AVAILABLE ON ITUNES
New Interactive App Enables Users to Connect to Network's Hit Original Series
Including "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," "Pretty Little Liars," "Huge,"
"Make It or Break It" and "Melissa & Joey"
Burbank, CA (August 2, 2010) - ABC Family today announced the ABC Family Chatterbox iPad app is available on the App Store. The app connects iPad users to the network's popular original series by allowing fans to interact with one another about their favorite ABC Family shows, characters and storylines.

With the Chatterbox app on iPad, viewers can talk about their favorite ABC Family shows with friends and fellow fans � as the action happens on television. Additionally, they can read or join in on the hot topics related to ABC Family's hit series including "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," "Pretty Little Liars" "Huge," "Make It or Break It" and "Melissa & Joey."
The ABC Family Chatterbox app is the latest example of innovation from the Disney/ABC Television Group (DATG), and follows ABC Family's recently released The Secret Diary of Ashley Juergens enhanced eBook on the iBookstore. DATG was the first to bring full episode video to the iTunes store and just this past April, DATG delivered ad-supported video to iPad via the acclaimed ABC Player App. The app has proven to be a tremendous success with over 950,000 downloads and 6 million episodes started. Additionally, DATG has created an ABC News App that has to date been downloaded more than 200,000 times.
