USA NETWORK'S NEW ONLINE LOYALTY PROGRAM EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

CHARACTER REWARDS Program Sparks Record Number of Fan Registrations to Engage and Win

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - September 23, 2010 - USA Network today revealed that its digital incentive program, CHARACTER REWARDS, has vastly exceeded expectations just one month after launch thanks to the loyal fan base of the network's hit series, PSYCH (www.clubpsych.com). The program, which was launched in late July featuring CLUB PSYCH as its first show-centric loyalty destination, rewards fans for engaging in online activities, such as watching videos, sharing content, and reposting on Facebook and Twitter feeds. CHARACTER REWARDS provides users points when they complete specific challenges and in return they can redeem the points for both tangible (e.g. show-branded merchandise) and virtual goods. Since its launch, CLUB PYSCH has amassed more than 30,000 registered users (over half joining in the first month), and accounts for a 30% lift in overall site traffic to the PSYCH vertical, announced Jesse Redniss, vice president, digital, USA Network.

"In developing the program, we wanted to provide something to our fans for their unwavering loyalty to USA's originals," said Redniss. "Through CLUB PSYCH - the first initiative of its kind - we've seen our fans go from enthusiastic to rabid online evangelists or self-described "PSYCHOS", spreading the word for Psych offerings and encouraging others to participate. You can't ask for a stronger metric for success than this type of overwhelming fan engagement."

CLUB PSYCH is the first of several show-specific CHARACTER REWARDS initiatives USA plans to launch this year. The massive response from its online brand ambassadors and super PSYCH fans proves the program to be a successful model for the network. The fans are speaking out about their appreciation and excitement for this type of program from USA:

"Thanks so much! I love you and Psych so much! I've been totally obsessed with CLUB PSYCH since it started. No lie, I found a hotel with WiFi and brought my laptop along so I could get all my games played and videos watched before heading out to get my hair/makeup/pics for my brother's wedding in Chicago a couple of weeks ago," said one enthusiastic fan who managed to rack up more than 130,000 points to obtain a signed PSYCH poster from Comic-Con.

What other fans are saying:

· Kim: So awesome that you guys are giving away tons of merch just for playing the Psych games. I almost couldn't believe it when I heard about it, but I've already got three boxed sets and a tee shirt! So, thank you! Hope you restock again soon. ;)

· Debra: I love Club Psych! I've used the games page to get my little brother and sister interested in Psych, too! :D

· Julia: glad to hear we can get real psych merchandise with our club points...great deal guys! thanks!!!

New merchandise is being added by the network, along with the promise of merchandise that's non-show specific, such as gift cards to major retailers, consumer electronics and more. To get involved in CLUB PYSCH, fans are required to register for the loyalty program through the USA Network site or by using their Facebook Connect access. Fans can also track their progress and see how they compare with other CLUB PSYCH members through a leader-board housed on the main hub of psych.usanetwork.com.
