MTV Consumer Products Launch "Jackass" 10 Year Anniversary Licensing Program

Santa Monica, CA (October 4, 2010) - MTV celebrates the 10 year anniversary of "Jackass" with two new specials. On Saturday, October 9 at 10PM ET/PT, the network will air "Jackass: The Beginning," a one hour special looking back on the journey of "Jackass" the series. Following at 11PM ET/PT is "The Making of Jackass 3D" giving viewers the inside scoop and exclusive look at the upcoming film "Jackass 3D" premiering in theaters on Friday, October 15. Tune-in to watch never-before-seen content and relive the most outrageous and humorous stunts with legendary pranksters Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dynn, Jason "Wee Man" Acu�a, Preston Lacy, Dave England and Ehren McGhehey.

"Jackass: The Beginning" -- airing from 10-11:00PM ET/PT

From production on the pilot presentation to first meetings with the Margera family, the cast and crew of "Jackass" reflect upon the humble origins of the MTV television show in 2000, sharing several of the idiotic stories behind their unlikely rise to pop culture prominence. Filled with loads of never-before-seen footage from the show's first infantile year.

"The Making of Jackass 3D" - airing from 11:00-11:30 ET/PT

A behind-the-scenes look at production on the new movie. Interviews with the cast and crew are weaved throughout the special, as they talk about the origins of the movie, what it was like filming and working with the 3D process, and the usual nonsense that goes down whenever the gang gets together.

In addition to the "Jackass" programming, a wide variety of products celebrating the 10 year anniversary of "Jackass" will be available the beginning of October.
