Exclusive: FOX to Wrap "Good Guys" Season on December 10
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX's "The Good Guys" will wrap its 20-episode freshman run on Friday, December 10 at 9:00/8:00c, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.

Various repeats and specials will then fill the night until FOX's midseason schedule kicks off in January. At its upfront presentation in May, the network indicated "Human Target" and a new cycle of "Kitchen Nightmares" would assume its Friday slots come midseason. Whether that will hold remains to be seen.

In any case, here's what to expect on Friday nights for the foreseeable future:

Friday, November 12-19
8:00/7:00c - "House" (Repeats)
9:00/8:00c - "The Good Guys"

Friday, November 26
8:00/7:00c - "TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special"

Friday, December 3-10
8:00/7:00c - "House" (Repeats)
9:00/8:00c - "The Good Guys" (Season Finale on December 10)

Friday, December 17
8:00/7:00c - "TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special" (Encore)

Friday, December 17*
8:00/7:00c - "The Good Guys" (Repeat)
9:00/8:00c - "The Good Guys" (Repeat)

Friday, December 24
8:00/7:00c - "Bones" (Repeat)
9:00/8:00c - "Lie to Me" (Repeat)

Friday, December 24*
8:00/7:00c - "Movie: Are We Done Yet?"

Friday, December 31
8:00/7:00c - "Movie: Rocky Balboa"

Friday, January 7
8:00/7:00c - "AT&T Cotton Bowl"

As for "Good Guys," the show's fall episodes have averaged a modest 2.52 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49, well short of its lackluster summer run (4.00 million viewers, 1.2 rating among adults 18-49).

[UPDATED! The following schedule changes were released this afternoon:]

* "TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special" encore on December 17 has been moved to Saturday, December 25.
