Heatwave Interactive, CMT Partner to Create "CMT Presents Platinum Life: Country"

CMT and Heatwave Team up for Unique Online Game to Deliver Virtual and Social side of Country

AUSTIN, Texas and NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nov. 17, 2010 - Heatwave Interactive and CMT (Country Music Television) have partnered to develop a new social game that offers up a country music and lifestyle twist with the development of CMT Presents Platinum Life: Country. CMT and Heatwave will share their passion for country music and digital media to deliver quality online entertainment for each brand's family, friends and new fans.

Together, the two leaders in their respective industries will create:

· A depot where country music fans will meet for social network gaming and community interaction.

· A viral, captivating platform across social networks to connect fans and expose new country music.

· An extension of country music and lifestyle into the interactive entertainment realm.

"The CMT audience lives and breathes country music online," said Jay Frank, senior vice president of music strategy at CMT. "This unique social game connects fans with CMT and country artists in a whole new unique way. This will be another important extension of our goal to bring new country music to all platforms in the most entertaining way."

"We've always intended to expand the Platinum Life brand and knew the country music community lacked an online game that suits their way of life," said Mykel Mitchell, studio executive at Heatwave Interactive. "CMT's dedication to the country music audience pairs well with our ability to develop engaging online entertainment experiences. It's an ideal partnership to develop a social game built for country music fans."

With CMT Presents Platinum Life: Country, Heatwave and CMT will be connecting fans on a global scale, allowing players to discover and enjoy on a new level the music and lifestyle they love. With the partnership, CMT and Heatwave hope to give new fans, as well as the established country community, an additional reason to get country and get social.
