Fox International Channels' "SINGLE DADS" TO BE RELEASED ON HULU.COM

First 5 episodes to go live tomorrow, Tuesday, December 21st

LOS ANGELES - December 20, 2010 - Starting Tuesday, December 21st, Fox International Channels (FIC) will make its original short form series, Single Dads, available on Hulu.com (http://hulu.com/single-dads).

Single Dads, a 30 x 5-minute scripted comedy web series, tells the story of two single fathers, who meet after they were both kicked out of a parenting class at the local YMCA. They quickly become best friends; bonding over the fact that they both have one-year-olds Pete Jr. and Theodore. They always have the best intentions, but inevitably do something irresponsible or thoughtless in each and every episode.

Single Dads contains two seasons with 15 episodes each and will be release d in two phases. FIC will make new episodes of season one available on a daily basis after the initial release. New episodes of season two will be offered on a weekly basis starting January.

"Releasing Single Dads on Hulu is part of our plan to further develop this project into a TV series," said Sharon Tal Yguado, SVP of Scripted Programming at FIC. "We believe in the series' long form potential and leave the final decision up to the viewers. If they like it and want more, we'll make it happen."

Fox International Channels recently hired the social media agency, Attention Span Media (ASM) to drive social media marketing and promotional activities for Single Dads. For continuing information about Single Dad's, follow us on Twitter @singledads.

Single Dads is FIC's wholly owned original series and was written and produced by its stars, Pete Karinen and Brian Sacca. The show is directed by Jordan Vogt Roberts and is also produced by Ryan Scott Warren. Additional cast for seasons one and two include James M Connor, who plays the role of "Jim," Pete's dad.

After gigging around New York's downtown comedy scene for a few years, Pete and Brian wrote and performed "Pete and Brian's One Man Show," an official selection of the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Their short film "FCU: Fact Checkers Unit" (co-starring Bill Murray) was an official selection of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, their film "The Definition of Sex" was an official selection of the 2007 SXSW Film Festival, and their video "Knock Knock" won the 2007 MySpace Short Film Contest. They are currently developing projects with Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films and "Zombieland" director Ruben Fleischer, and Pete can be seen playing the role of "Jim" in the upcoming Fox show "Mixed Signals," premiering in February.
