BBC America - February Highlights
"Top Gear" returns Monday, February 7 while Cherry Healey's "Seven Ages of Drinking bows Tuesday, February 1.

BBC AMERICA - FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS

TOP GEAR - U.S. PREMIERE

The world's most popular car show returns for a brand new U.S. premiere season as hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May undertake stunts and epic challenges across the desert, through the air and up America's East Coast. Top Gear's premiere episode will be directly followed by the premiere of the Top Gear: USA Road Trip Special where the trio compare the Mercedes SLS, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Ferrari 458 Italia in an epic road trip that culminates in a fight to find the fastest way into New York, all in the name of crowning the world's greatest sports car. The International Emmy-winning and original Top Gear series once again welcomes some of world's hottest cars and stars to the Top Gear test track. Top Gear premieres Monday, February 7, 9:00p.m. ET/PT.

SIX NATIONS RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP (LIVE) - U.S. PREMIERE

RBS Six Nations Championship, one of Europe's biggest annual sporting events, will broadcast live on BBC AMERICA this month. The legendary rugby tournament features England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Wales as they vie for the championship over seven weeks. France currently holds the Grand Slam title having sealed the victory at home last year, defeating England and unseating previous champion, Ireland. Each match will be preceded by an hour-long live pre-game show. BBC AMERICA's first match will be from the Stande de France, where France faces off against Scotland, on Saturday, February 5, 12:00p.m.ET/PT.

BBC AMERICA REVEALS... SEVEN AGES OF... - U.S. PREMIERE

Divided into four parts, journalist Cherry Healey immerses herself with seven different women in various stages of their lives as they cope with drinking, love, marriage and pregnancy. In Seven Ages of Drinking, Cherry drinks with women across the country and tries to find out what girls drink, where they drink and how their tastes change throughout their lives. In Seven Ages of Love, she follows the lives of seven women looking for love. In Seven Ages of Marriage, she investigates the meaning of marriage and attempts to answer two intriguing questions: Why do women get married and when is the right time or age to do so? In the final and fourth part, Seven Ages of Pregnancy, Cherry, unexpectedly pregnant herself, speaks to seven women who help her understand the change she is about to go through as a young, free and single woman to somebody's mother. BBC AMERICA Reveals continues on Tuesdays with the premiere of Seven Ages of Drinking on February 1, 10:00p.m. ET/PT.

THE BRITISH ACADEMY FILM AWARDS - U.S. PREMIERE

Hollywood's biggest stars come out for Britain's most glamorous night in this prestigious awards ceremony at London's Royal Opera House. Airing the same day they air in the UK, The British Academy Film Awards honors the best of the year in film and often correctly predicts who will walk away with the Academy Award� a few weeks later. Previous winners include Colin Firth, Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren, Daniel Day-Lewis and Mickey Rourke. The British Academy Film Awards premieres Sunday, February 13, 8:00p.m. ET/PT including a 30-minute red carpet pre-show.

MOVIES - LEADING MEN

This February, tune into BBC AMERICA to see some of Britain's biggest and best-known actors in leading roles. EXCALIBUR - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Helen Mirren, Nigel Terry and Nicholas Clay take on leading roles in an imaginative retelling of the story of the legendary King Arthur. Excalibur premieres Thursday, February 10, 9:00p.m. ET/PT.

THE TAILOR OF PANAMA - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Pierce Brosnan, Geoffrey Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis take on leading roles in this spy thriller. After an affair with a mistress, a British spy (Brosnan) connects with a local Panamanian tailor (Rush) who has all the right connections in all the wrong places. The Tailor of Panama premieres Sunday, February 13, 9:00a.m. ET/PT.

THE AGE OF INNOCENCE - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer and Winona Ryder star in this Edith Wharton classic about a 19th century high society lawyer (Day-Lewis) who, while engaged to a socialite (Ryder), falls in love her cousin (Pfeiffer). The Age of Innocence premieres Sunday, February 13, 6:00a.m. ET/PT.

THE EDGE - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin and Elle Macpherson star in an adventure thriller set in the Alaskan wilderness. A plane crash leaves a billionaire (Hopkins) and two other men (Baldwin and Harold Perrineau) stranded and ill-equipped for the task of surviving the journey or each other. The Edge premieres Sunday, February 13, 2:30p.m. ET/PT.

QUIZ SHOW - BBC AMERICA PREMIERE

John Turturro, Ralph Fiennes and Rob Morrow star in this historical drama based on a true story. Young lawyer Dick Goodwin (Morrow) discovers game shows are fixed and investigates two show contestants: Herbert Stempel (Turturro) and Charles Van Doren (Fiennes). Quiz Show premieres Sunday, February 13, 11:30a.m. ET/PT.

ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES

A classic adventure film starring Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman re-tells the story of Robin Hood and the outlaws. After escaping prison in Jerusalem, Robin Hood (Kevin Costner) makes his way back to England where he discovers his father has been killed by the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman). With his home in shambles and his people oppressed, Robin takes command of a band of outlaws to take on the evil Sheriff. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves airs Thursday, February 3, 9:00p.m. ET/PT.
