Hosted by Cris Collinsworth and co-produced by Telepictures Productions and LiquidThread, new show explores what inspires and drives today's classic man

NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2011 -- Tribune Broadcasting today announced the premiere of a new TV series, "Inside the Vault," hosted by Emmy-winning TV personality and former NFL star Cris Collinsworth and executive produced by Telepictures Productions and LiquidThread. The syndicated, 10-episode season showcases stories, insights and lively conversation that give a wide variety of perspectives on the life of today's classic man. The series will launch with a special Friday premiere on WGN America, Tribune's national cable network, on Friday, February 4 at 10:30pm EST/9:30pm CST. It will also premiere on Tribune Company local affiliates in 17 key markets that same weekend. Telepictures Productions is the industry-leading and Emmy� Award-winning producer of syndicated programming behind such hit shows as "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Extra," "TMZ" and the upcoming daytime programs, "Anderson" and "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers," launching this fall.

Host Cris Collinsworth and Insider co-hosts Alonzo Bodden and Jill Wagner drive the discussion and stories within each episode. Segments will include discussions on gadgets, travel, fitness, food, and sports with experts from Conde Nast's Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler, Details, GQ, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Wired providing their unique perspective. Source Interlink Media, the publisher of Motor Trend, will provide automotive editorial.

Cris Collinsworth has a distinguished sports career, having appeared in two Super Bowls, and his illustrious broadcast career as a sports analyst has garnered him 11 Sports Emmy wins. As a father of four and law degree holder, Cris brings a well-rounded perspective along with his candid style to host this groundbreaking series that explores today's classic man. Alonzo Bodden has quickly made a household name for himself since winning "Last Comic Standing." Formerly a jet mechanic and now an international headliner, his comedy special "Who's Paying Attention?" airs on Showtime. Alonzo will bring his incisive, offbeat take to a new forum on "Inside the Vault." Jill Wagner's infectious personality and talent in Hollywood cannot be missed. Currently co-host of ABC's "Wipeout," Jill has a wide range of personal pursuits beyond acting including music and psychology. Raised by a single father, Jill offers harmonizing insights to the show and shares her spirited perspective on today's classic man. Lisa Gregorisch Dempsey and Jeremy Spiegel serve as executive producers of the series.

After the special Friday premiere, the 30-minute program will transition into its regular national cable timeslot of Sundays at 6:00pm EST/5:00pm on WGN America beginning Sunday, February 13. "Inside the Vault" will also air on 17 Tribune affiliates including PIX11 New York, KTLA Los Angeles, WGN Chicago, WPHL Philadelphia, KDAF Dallas, WDCW Washington DC, KIAH Houston, KZJO Seattle, WSFL Miami, KTXL Sacramento, KRCW Portland, WXIN Indianapolis, KSWB San Diego, WTIC Hartford, WPMT Harrisburg, WXMI Grand Rapids and WNOL New Orleans. Additionally, it will air on WKBD in Detroit, a Tribune partner television station owned by CBS Corporation. Check local listings for airings of upcoming episodes.

In addition to viewing on-air, "Inside the Vault" viewers can watch it anywhere, anytime on the show's website insidethevault.tv, which launches with streaming video on February 3. Episodes will debut on-air and online simultaneously, and footage from the show can also be seen via Facebook, Get Glue, Twitter, Vimeo and YouTube.
