Chris Jacobs Named Correspondent For "Entertainment Tonight"

March 7, 2011 -- Hollywood, CA -- Kevin Frazier is named co-anchor of The Insider effective today, it was announced by Linda Bell Blue, Executive Producer of CBS Television Distribution's Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. He joins The Insider anchor Lara Spencer.

In making the announcement, Bell Blue said, "Kevin has been an integral part of the ET/Insider family for seven years. He is one of the most respected correspondents in entertainment news with incredible sources and connections that will be put to good use as co-anchor of The Insider."

At the same time, Chris Jacobs has been named a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

Said Bell Blue, "In just a short time, Chris has built a strong connection with the Hollywood community. His interview skills and inquisitive nature make him the perfect person to send out in the field to cover events and exclusive interviews for ET. We're excited he's joining ET as a correspondent."

During his tenure with ET, Frazier has covered many high-profile entertainment stories and historical events both in Hollywood and around the world. Frazier joined ET in 2004 and served as co-anchor of the weekend show and correspondent. Prior to this, he served as host of ESPN's "SportsCenter," "NBA Shoot Around" and "Fastbreak Tuesday."

Jacobs joined The Insider over a year ago. In 2010, he served as correspondent and interviewed many of Hollywood's top stars and newsmakers. Prior to joining The Insider, Jacobs served as co-host of TLC's popular automotive makeover show, "Overhaulin'."

Currently in its 30th season, Entertainment Tonight is produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution and is taped in Studio City, Calif. Linda Bell Blue is executive producer. Heidi Clements is co-executive producer. Mary Hart is host; Mark Steines is co-host. Nancy O'Dell is special correspondent. Chris Jacobs and Samantha Harris are correspondents. Leonard Maltin is film historian/correspondent.
