WE TV RENEWS "JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST?" FOR A SECOND SEASON

10 Episodes to Premiere in January 2012

NEW YORK, NY, March 15, 2011 - WE tv announced the second season renewal of its popular original series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?. The new season will feature 10, one-hour episodes slated to premiere in January 2012. The show features mother-daughter duo, Joan and Melissa Rivers, as Joan continues to live with Melissa as she searches for a home of her own in Los Angeles and strengthens her relationship with Melissa and grandson, Cooper. The show is packed with drama, love, laughter and Joan's unique brand of comedy as she comments on everything in Melissa's life from her live-in boyfriend to how she raises her son.

"Joan Knows Best? has proven to be a hit for WE tv and we're thrilled to offer a fresh new season to our enthusiastic viewers, and continue our relationship with Joan and Melissa," said John Miller, senior vice president of original productions & development, WE tv and Wedding Central. "Each episode features an intimate sneak peek into the lives of this famous pair, and sheds light on what we as viewers don't usually get to see. The premiere of Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? on Tuesday, January 25 (9-10 pm) made WE tv the top women's network for the night among W2+ and doubled the network's prime time average. Season to date, the series has lifted WE tv's time period average +51% among household rating while W18-49 and W25-54 impressions are up +29% and +60%, respectively. The series finale airs tonight at 9 pm on WE tv.

The series is produced by WE tv and Zoo Productions. Executive producers for WE tv are Annabelle McDonald and John Miller.
