The Style Network Scours the Nation to Find the Ultimate Fashion Victim in "How Do I Look?: The Search for the Worst Dressed in America"

Multi-Part Event Hosted by Jeannie Mai to Air this September on Style

Los Angeles, April 12, 2011 - Get ready America, The Style Network is looking for the country's worst fashion offenders and won't stop until a winner is crowned! Featuring host extraordinaire Jeannie Mai, "How Do I Look?: The Search for the Worst Dressed in America" takes fashion mishaps to a whole new level of faux pas. After searching multiple cities to find the nation's biggest fashion disaster, the winner will be revealed and ambushed before being taken to Hollywood for the ultimate makeover. The new multi-part event will air this September on Style.

"'How Do I Look?' is one of Style's most popular core franchises and we can't wait to see what happens when Jeannie and her celebrity glam squad hit the road to find the most extreme cases of fashion catastrophe," said Salaam Coleman Smith, President, The Style Network. "Style is the home of makeovers and this will be perhaps the most extreme transformation we've ever seen on the network - America's worst dressed will soon become the best dressed."

When people struggle to put together an outfit or fail to admit their lackluster style affects how others perceive them, there's usually more to it than just a bad eye for fashion. One by one, the stylistically challenged confront the truth about their poor dressing habits and get to the root of why it happened on The Style Network's hit fashion intervention series "How Do I Look?" hosted by fashion expert Jeannie Mai. In the series, Mai, concerned friends, family and a professional stylist, confront, encourage and instruct their loved ones to permanently adopt a better sense of style. While these fashion disasters learn vital tips to keep their looks from going astray again, along the way, they discover more about themselves and gain a brighter outlook on life.

In "How Do I Look?: The Search for the Worst Dressed in America," Mai and her troop of celebrity hair, makeup artists and stylists will scour the nation, hunting for the most awesomely atrocious, clothing-challenged person in the land, submitted by concerned and caring family and friends. The multi-part event will profile all of the candidates for "worst dressed" in their respective cities. Then the field will be narrowed to three candidates, leading up to the big reveal of the winner, who is ambushed and brought to Hollywood for the ultimate makeover!

"How Do I Look?" is produced by The Style Network. Riaz Patel serves as executive producer.
