STEVEN TYLER SITS DOWN WITH MATT LAUER IN AN EXCLUSIVE MULTI-PART INTERVIEW THAT WILL AIR ON "DATELINE" SUNDAY, MAY 1 AND "TODAY" ON MONDAY, MAY 2

NEW YORK - April 20, 2011 - Steven Tyler will sit down with Matt Lauer in an exclusive "Dateline" on Sunday, May 1 at 7pm ET/6 pm Central and again on "Today" on Monday, May 2. The interview will focus on Steven Tyler's triumphant year that includes a new book, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?: A Rock 'n' Roll Memoir, (Ecco) and his role on "American Idol." Tyler also speaks candidly about overcoming drug addiction, his family and Aerosmith.

David Corvo is the executive producer of "Dateline" (Fridays at 9pm and Sundays at 7pm ET).

Jim Bell is the executive producer of "Today" (Mon.-Fri., 7-11am ET).

Portions of the interview will also air on "Weekend Today" and "MSNBC;" excerpts from the interview to follow.
