Tia and Tamera Mowry Embark on Major Life Transformations in New Series "Tia & Tamera," Premiering Monday, August 8 at 9PM ET/PT on the Style Network

Eight-Episode One-Hour Docu-Series Follows the Celebrity Identical Twins as Tia Becomes a First-Time Mom and Tamera Walks Down the Aisle

Los Angeles, July 6, 2011 - Twin sisters and best friends, Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, who became overnight teen sensations for their hit comedy series "Sister, Sister," take viewers behind the scenes and into their real life excitement in the new Style Network docu-series "Tia & Tamera." From an early age, the sisters have grown up before the cameras, blossoming into beautiful, successful women with thriving acting and producing careers. Now in their 30s, Tia and Tamera face their biggest and most challenging roles yet - for Tia, becoming a first-time mother and for Tamera, it's making the transition from fiancée to wife. Fans will have an all-access pass to Tia's baby shower and arrival of the new baby and Tamera's bridal shower, bachelorette party and wedding as the cameras document the good times and the dramatic moments when the eight episode season of "Tia & Tamera" premieres Monday, August 8 at 9:00pm ET/PT on Style.

Having bucked the teen star curse, Tia and Tamera have forged an impressive path as actors and producers, working together on hit projects while also successfully venturing solo. When it comes to their personal lives, Tia is the practical and responsible one, having settled comfortably into the suburban lifestyle with her husband, actor Cory Hardrict. Tamera, who is the oldest by two minutes, is more spontaneous and carefree, enjoying her last weeks as a single woman. Dealing with each other's uniquely opposite characteristics can be a challenge for the both of them; however, through it all, they still remain the best of friends.

A follow-up to the successful special that aired last summer on Style, "Tia & Tamera" gives a more in-depth look inside the lives of these sisters who learn how to balance their successful acting careers with the pressures of their personal relationships and responsibilities. At crossroads in their lives - Tia prepares for the birth of her first child and Tamera plans the wedding of her dreams - they discover that they need each other's support now more than ever. Between endless doctor's appointments, researching birthing options and organizing for the baby, Tia and Cory's lives are turned upside down as they await the arrival of their new son. Tia radiates happiness, even during doctor-ordered bed rest, and now that her bundle of joy is here, her world will never be the same.

Tamera is excited to marry her fiancé Adam Housley, a FOX News correspondent, but the stress of planning her perfect day causes a strain on her relationship with Tia, whose focus is on her pregnancy. From choosing the dress, to the location, to the menu, to the flowers, Tamera's approaching nuptials are creating havoc with her emotions - and driving everyone around her crazy. Another worry to add to her plate is how she will adjust to living with Adam and infuse his bachelor style into her house to create a loving home for the two of them. Soon the focus changes from blushing bride to loving wife, and new challenges arise as Tamera and Adam begin life together as a married couple.

After gaining fame for their roles as teenage siblings on the sitcom "Sister, Sister," identical twins Tia and Tamera Mowry pursued degrees in psychology from Pepperdine University while still continuing to act. Tia currently stars on the hit television comedy "The Game" and starred on "Girlfriends." In addition, she has starred in several made-for-television movies, including "Double Wedding" which reunited her with Tamera. Both sisters received NAACP nominations for Outstanding Actress in "Double Wedding." Tamera headlined two television shows, "Roommates" and "Strong Medicine," among other telepics.

"Tia & Tamera" is produced by Good Clean Fun. Executive Producers are Jason Carbone, Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, along with Style's Executive Producer Sarah Weidman.
