HOUSE (FOX) - Jesse Spencer has closed a deal to continue on the veteran medical drama. "I'm coming back for season 8 with a tan and a busted board," the actor announced via his Twitter page. Said news comes on the heels of co-star Lisa Edelstein's decision to depart the series after seven seasons.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (CBS) - Kal Penn ("House") is returning to the small screen as the actor is set to recur on the upcoming season of the comedy. He'll play "a possible love interest for Cobie Smulders' lovelorn Robin named Kevin," however no additional details were given.
THE LYING GAME (ABC Family) - Rick Malambri ("Step Up 3D") has scored a role on the upcoming drama, about identical twins (played by Alexandra Chando) - previously oblivious to the other's existence - who decide to switch identities. He'll play Eduardo, "a sexy choreographer at the Royal Ballet Studio in the series' hometown of Scottsdale," who becomes romantically involved with one of his students. The newcomer launches Monday, August 15.
