LIGHTS, CAMERA... DISASTER!

TV GUIDE NETWORK GETS DIRTY WITH CELEBRITIES' MOST SALACIOUS SCANDALS IN "100 HOLLYWOOD CRIMES, MISDEMEANORS & DIRTY DEEDS"

Presented by LifeLock, the Four-Part Series Counting Down the Most Infamous Headline-Making Wrongdoings Premieres Sunday, August 7th at 9:00 pm ET/PT

LOS ANGELES (July 26, 2011) - From unsolved murders during Hollywood's Golden Age to Hollywood babes posing for mug shots, TV Guide Network's "100 Hollywood Crimes, Misdemeanors & Dirty Deeds" counts down Tinseltown's most notorious scandals. Presented by LifeLock, the original, four-part series airs on consecutive Sundays, premiering on Sunday, August 7th at 9:00 p.m. on TV Guide Network.

With archival clips and commentary from Hollywood journalists, pop culture experts, legal consultants and private investigators, "100 Hollywood Crimes, Misdemeanors & Dirty Deeds," examines the down and dirty behavior of Hollywood's elite including murder, sex crimes and drunken behavior, in addition to crimes committed by celebrity imposters.

The antics of today's reality stars seem harmless compared to old Hollywood's mysterious murders. The infamous Black Dahlia murder, vaudeville star Fatty Arbuckle accused of killing a young starlet, the stabbing of Lana Turner's lover by her own daughter and the gruesome slaying of the beautiful Sharon Tate by followers of Charles Manson all make the list of scandals.

But murder isn't the only crime committed by stars. Sexual escapades have also rocked Hollywood and damaged careers. Rob Lowe, Roman Polanski and singer R. Kelly's careers were all derailed after being caught with underage girls and Hugh Grant's dalliance with a hooker caused public humiliation and a rocky break up. Plus, madam Heidi Fleiss served jail time for providing high-class call girls to A-list stars.

Bad behavior isn't limited to boys. Young starlets such as Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Winona Ryder and Jersey Shore's Snooki all found themselves posing for mug shots instead of paparazzi for their wild and out-of-control behavior.

Even well-behaved celebrities such as Will Smith and Oprah have been involved in crimes as victims of fraud and identity theft.

Mysterious murders, shocking sex crimes and drunken behavior have been and always will be a part of show business. TV Guide Network's "100 Hollywood Crimes, Misdemeanors & Dirty Deeds" takes down the velvet rope to expose Hollywood's dirty laundry.
