BREAKING BAD (AMC) - Sam Catlin, a co-executive producer on the series, has inked a two-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television. The pact, financial details of which weren't released, presumably covers his duties on a potential fifth season of the AMC drama as well as calls for him to develop new series projects.

GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - Roy Dotrice and Hannah Murray are the latest additions to the show's sophomore run. The former will play Pyromancer Hallyne, "chief of the Guild of Alchemists," with Murray as Gilly, "one of the many women living with Old Craster who wants to escape his oppression."

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (NBC) - "Law & Order" alumnus Linus Roache is set to reprise his role as Michael Cutter on the remaining installment of the franchise. He'll turn up in the season premiere as a new "Bureau Chief of the DA's office, a position that just so happens to oversee Special Victims Unit cases." "I am very happy to be bringing Michael Cutter back to life and exploring how he has evolved into his new position of being a bureau chief and possibly even a mentor," Roache told TVLine.com. "I think Special Victims is going to be an area where Cutter's passion for justice can really come forth."

THE LINCOLN LAWYER (ABC, New!) - Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment are developing a small screen take on the recent Matthew McConaughey-led film, about Michael "Mickey" Haller, a criminal defense attorney who does business from the back of a chauffeured Town Car. "Lawyer" screenwriter John Romano and creator/novelist Michael Connelly are spearheading said adaptation with Joel Gotler and Lakeshore's Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg also serving as executive producers.

THE SECRET CIRCLE (The CW) - Zachary Burr Abel ("Make It or Break It") has scored a role on the upcoming drama. He'll play a hot jock named Luke who asks Britt Robertson's Cassie out beginning with the show's third episode. No other details were given.

UNTITLED CHRIS OFFUTT PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Chris Offutt ("Weeds") is on track to book a potential new drama at the Eye about "a veteran Texas Ranger who is forced to take the new ranger recruits under his tutelage." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan will also serve as an executive producer on the hour, a studio for which wasn't specified.
