TLC ORDERS NEW SERIES "CANDY QUEEN"

TLC today confirmed it has started production on the new series CANDY QUEEN (wt), taking viewers into the edible empire of Jackie Sorkin as she balances running her growing candy & events business with the demands of being a wife, mother and workaholic. Half Yard Productions is producing the six-part half-hour series for TLC, which premieres this winter.

Jackie and her team - the "Candy Crew" - spend their days and nights building outrageous candy creations to make each of their client's sweetest dreams come true. Now, she's expanding her operations and taking on more ever-challenging business, which means Jackie must rely on her husband and her parents more than ever... or risk total meltdown.
