FOX will kick off the biggest night on television with COUNTDOWN TO THE EMMYS, the official live pre-show hosted by Emmy(R) Award-winning entertainment reporter Nancy O'Dell, Emmy(R) Award-winning television reporter Mark Thompson and television personality Amanda Byram, on Sunday, Sept. 18 (7:00-8:00 PM ET live/PT 4:00-5:00 PM PT live) on FOX.

The live one-hour special will capture the star-studded arrivals of Primetime Emmy(R) nominees, presenters and special guests. The star-studded evening continues with the 63RD PRIMETIME EMMY(R) AWARDS, airing live in all time zones (8:00-11:00 PM ET live/5:00-8:00 PM PT live). Hosted by Jane Lynch and executive-produced by Mark Burnett, the Emmys will celebrate the year's best television programing.

Named one of Television Week's 10 Most Bankable Stars in Syndication, Nancy O'Dell has proven to be a force as a host, author, producer and entrepreneur. One of the country's most respected and leading entertainment journalists, O'Dell serves as co-host of "Entertainment Tonight." Previously, she co-anchored "Access Hollywood" for 13 years. An award-winning journalist, she has been honored with three Associated Press Awards, two Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Awards, an Emmy(R) Award and multiple Emmys nominations.

His voice has also been heard on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, AMERICAN IDOL and other popular primetime shows. Thompson recently concluded twenty years at the FOX owned-and-operated station in Los Angeles where he appeared nightly on the top-rated newscast and hosted the show, "That's So Hollywood."
