STYLE NETWORK PICKS UP #1 NEW DOCU-SERIES "TIA & TAMERA" FOR SECOND SEASON

LOS ANGELES - September 15, 2011 - After setting numerous ratings records its first five weeks on the air, The Style Network announced the pick-up of its summer breakout hit series "Tia & Tamera," starring Tia Mowry Hardict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, for a second season. The premiere on August 8 was Style's most-watched series launch, averaging over 750,000 Total Viewers, and the second week shattered the previous week's record by becoming the network's most-watched telecast ever with 920,000 Total Viewers. Production on the second season is slated to begin later this year.

"We are excited to continue following Tia and Tamera's journeys both personally and professionally," said Salaam Coleman Smith, President, The Style Network. "Being a part of their major life transformations, including the fun, dramatic and private moments, has resonated with our viewers who come to Style for the inspirational and aspirational stories."

After five weeks on the air, "Tia & Tamera" is tracking to become Style's highest-rated series ever across all key demos, including Adults 18-49 (490,000) and Women 18-49 (410,000) as well as Total Viewers (755,00). The new series has reached more than 17 million total unique viewers series to-date.

The new season will continue to follow the identical twin sisters on their journeys as Tia adjusts to her new role as a working mom with a flourishing entertainment career and Tamera balances being a newlywed and a successful producer and actor.

A follow-up to the successful special that aired last summer on Style, the premiere season of "Tia & Tamera" gives a more in-depth look inside the lives of these sisters who learn how to balance their successful acting careers with the pressures of their personal relationships and responsibilities. At crossroads in their lives - Tia prepares for the birth of her first child and Tamera plans the wedding of her dreams - they discover that they need each other's support now more than ever.

On a new episode of "Tia & Tamera" airing Monday, September 19 at 9:00pm ET/PT, Tia is stressed about being put on bed rest because she still has details to finalize before the birth of her first child. After focusing on her wedding for so long, Tamera is ready to turn her attention to her acting and the next step in her career. The 8-episode season concludes on Monday, October 3 at 9:00pm ET/PT.

"Tia & Tamera" is produced by Good Clean Fun. Executive Producers are Jason Carbone, Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, along with Style's Executive Producer Sarah Weidman.
