The Network Website Launches Extensive Show Archive Featuring Over 5,000 Clips and Classic "Saturday Night Live" Moments in Time for Season Premiere of NBC's "SNL" on September 24

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - September 23, 2011 - NBC.com has launched an extensive "Saturday Night Live" video archive from the iconic NBC series featuring over 5,000 clips and classic moments at http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live. Many of the clips have never been available online before now.

Timed to the September 24 season premiere of "SNL" with host Alec Baldwin, NBC.com has released a montage highlighting Baldwin's best "Saturday Night Live" moments compiled from his 15 appearances.

The clips span 36 seasons of "Saturday Night Live," and new clips will be added to the archive after each new episode airs.

Additional video offerings include highlights from each decade, as well as various themes such as "Deep Thoughts," "Commercial Parodies," "Weekend Update," "Presidents," and "TV Funhouse." The site also offers exclusives such as photo galleries and games. Within the year the site will be upgraded to include a searchable database, character guides and the ultimate "SNL" trivia game.
