OXYGEN'S "SNAPPED" COMMEMORATES 150th EPISODE ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2 AT 9PM ET/PT

Episode Depicts Story of Linda Pedroza of West Palm Beach, FL

NEW YORK - September 27, 2011 - Since launching in 2004 and across 150 episodes, "Snapped" on Oxygen has consistently compelled viewers by offering fly-on-the-wall details, interviews and a deeper look into the minds of the women who snapped. In the 150th episode, premiering on Sunday, October 2 at 9PM ET/PT, a daughter's resentment reaches its boiling point and the consequences are deadly.

The 150th episode features Linda Pedroza, a textbook case of a sheltered child turned rebellious teenager. Linda's mother, Isabelle's, inability to control her father's alcoholism and its ripple effects created palpable tension in the Pedroza household, notably between mother and daughter. After dropping out of high school, Linda meets Antoine Wright, an ex-con six years her senior, and the two soon became inseparable. Antoine's bad-boy past mesmerizes Linda; however, Isabelle is not amused and unabashedly vocalizes her disapproval of their relationship. Three days after a heated argument between the mother and daughter, Linda reports her mother missing to authorities. The discovery of female remains in a remote Florida swamp quickly takes Isabelle off of the missing persons list and Linda's behavior sends her to the top of the suspect list. Did Isabelle stumble into bad luck while taking time away from her daughter or did the young lovers take extreme measures to continue their relationship?

"Snapped" features everyday, seemingly average moms, wives and girlfriends who are accused of committing murder. Did they really do it? And if so, why? Was it a cheating spouse, years of constant abuse or that dirty dish in the sink? Whatever the situation, the women share a common bond--they all allegedly snapped!

For the "Snapped" super fan www.oxygen.com has all new photos, bonus videos and message boards for fans to chat and discuss each episode.
