ABC FAMILY CASTS JENNIE GARTH IN "VILLAGE PEOPLE" PILOT Burbank, CA (November 8, 2011) - Jennie Garth ("90210," "What I Like About You") has been cast as the lead in the ABC Family comedy pilot, "Village People," from executive producer Meg DeLoatch ("Brothers," "Eve," "One on One"). Garth will play Alexa, a single, high-powered career woman who adopts a baby from a teen mother -- whom she ends up caring for as well. Garth will also serve as Executive Producer.
