Favorite Guests, Musical Tributes and More, As "LIVE!" Prepares to Say Goodbye to the Emmy-Winning Talk Show Icon

NEW YORK, NY - As Regis Philbin prepares to depart his long-running talk show on November 18, 2011, the staff of "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" has put together a spectacular send-off, with favorite guests, musical tributes and an hour-long final show commemorating Philbin's nearly three decades on "LIVE!"

Leading up to the big finale, daily themed pieces will showcase Philbin's top moments, classic memories many viewers will remember, and the most entertaining highlights from the past 28 seasons of "LIVE!"

During his final week, beginning November 14, some of Philbin's favorite guests and friends will stop by to share their personal recollections of years of visits to the show and to wish him well, including David Letterman (Nov. 16), Donald Trump (Nov. 15), Don Rickles (Nov. 14), Kathie Lee Gifford (Nov. 17) and Jimmy Fallon (Nov. 14). In addition, every day there will be a special musical tribute featuring singers such as Tony Bennett, Bret Michaels and Josh Groban, and several unexpected musical performances.

On November 18, Philbin's final "LIVE!" will be a not-to-be-missed hour-long tribute, a moving show jam-packed with surprises for Philbin and the audience. In addition, Philbin will reflect on his tenure with the popular morning program, and share his thoughts as he moves on to new show business adventures.

"LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" is executive-produced by Michael Gelman and is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York, "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" airs in more than 200 markets across the U.S.
