Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

DEFIANCE (Syfy) - Feature helmer Scott Charles Stewart ("Priest") has been tapped to direct the upcoming alien invasion drama, which will run concurrently with the massively multiplayer online game of the same name from Trion Worlds. Rockne S. O'Bannon is spearheading the project, which is set up at Universal Cable Productions. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)

GAJILLIONAIRES (Comedy Central, New!) - Yoni Brenner ("Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs") has booked a potential animated comedy at the cable channel about "the uber-wealthy Benjamin and George Krabbe and their misadventures in the world of big business." Bento Box's Joel Kuwahara, Scott Greenberg and Mark McJimsey will executive produce alongside Brenner and Principato/Young Entertainment's Peter Principato, Paul Young and Tucker Voorhees. (THR.com)

GRUBSTEIN & GRUBSTEIN (Comedy Central, New!) - Arthur Jones and Karl Ackerman have set up a new animated comedy at the network about "two twenty-something brothers who inherit a Brooklyn brownstone filled with oddball tenants." They'll write the half-hour and serve as co-executive producers. (THR.com)

THE LIFE & TIMES OF VIVIENNE VYLE (ABC, New!) - Bill Martin and Mike Schiff ("Hank") are looking to import the Jennifer Saunders-led U.K. comedy, about "the quartet of a female talkshow host, her husband, the show's producer, and a psychologist hired to make the trains run on time." They'll write and executive produce the ABC Studios-based half-hour alongside Borderline Amazing Productions' Chelsea Handler and Tom Brunelle as well as BBC Worldwide Productions' Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner. Saunders herself will also serve as a consultant. (Deadline.com)

RABBIT HOLE (Comedy Central, New!) - Jamie Denbo and Kerri Kenney-Silver are set to team for a new mockumentary-style comedy at the network about "the residents and customers at a low-rent legal brothel in Winnemucca, Nevada called Dame Delilah's Rabbit Hole Ranch." The latter is also on board to play Dame Delilah, the madam of the house. Denbo and Kenney-Silver then will presumably executive produce. (Deadline.com)

UPSTATE (Comedy Central, New!) - Jon Gabrus and Justin Tyler are set to write and star in a potential comedy at the cable channel about "two guys who return to the summer town of their youth and live like they are sixteen again, complete with bonfires, jet-ski races and stealing Uncle Gary's pot." The duo will likewise serve as co-executive producers. (THR.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Billy Burke's slippery legal eagle Philip Stroh will return for the final two episodes of TNT's "The Closer" (TVLine.com); Brandy Norwood will recur on the upcoming season of BET's "The Game" as Chardonnay, "a sassy bartender who will become a love interest for Coby Bell's Jason," with PJ Byrne, Gabrielle Dennis, Shawn Marion, Estelle, Selita Ebanks, DeRay Davis, Nene Leakes, Rockmond Dunbar and Loretta Devine also set to guest star (THR.com); Kathy Griffin will stop by NBC's "Whitney" as a co-worker of Rhea Seehorn's Roxanne (TVGuide.com); plus Robin Givens has been tapped as a longtime rival of Dallas (Cheryl Hines) from her sorority days on ABC's "Suburgatory" (EW.com).
