"WILLIAM AND KATE: INSIDE THE ROYAL MARRIAGE," HOSTED BY "TODAY'S" NATALIE MORALES, TO AIR ON NBC TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH FROM 8 TO 9 PM ET

Special will take viewers inside the lives of the most famous couple in the world with unprecedented access to family, friends and royal insiders

NEW YORK - December 6, 2011 - NBC will air "William and Kate: Inside the Royal Marriage" on Tuesday, December 13 from 8 to 9 p.m. With unprecedented access to family, friends and royal insiders, this special reveals what has been happening in the first six months of Will and Kate's marriage and uncovers all the fascinating facts of every day life for this modern day royal couple. NBC has one again partnered with London-based Spun Gold, the producers of last spring's "Inside the Royal Wedding."

The special, hosted by the "Today" show's Natalie Morales, opens by looking back at the wedding - with friends, family and royal insiders. Interviews include Lady Elisabeth Anson, the Queen's cousin, and Sir Malcolm Ross, former royal comptroller, as well as some new faces, such as Nicki and Charlotte Macfarlane, designers who worked on the bridesmaids' dresses, and Hugo Burnard, the official wedding photographer. The special also reveals the detail of their everyday lives in their new home in Anglesey. The Queen's cousin and others speak of their reasons for living there, and their attempts at keeping some semblance of privacy, despite the feverish interest in the couple. The documentary will explore how their very modern approach is changing a very traditional institution.

The special gives the inside track on the key events that marked the first few months of their lives together, from their first overseas trip to Canada, to their trip to Los Angeles, including interviews with Nigel Lythgoe, who hosted the BAFTA reception in Los Angeles, and Captain Jean Leroux, Equerry for the entire Canadian trip to Prince William. "William and Kate: Inside The Royal Marriage" is the definitive take on the most famous couple in the world.

"William and Kate: Inside the Royal Marriage" is produced by Spun Gold TV. Since launching in September 2004, Spun Gold TV has become one of the top independent TV producers in the UK. Led by Nick Bullen, Spun Gold TV has been hailed as one of the country's most exciting and innovative television production companies.
