THIS WINTER, The Dog days are Back... on Nat Geo WILD! DOG WHISPERER WITH CESAR MILLAN goes wild with NEW EPISODES on New Network THIS January

Cesar Helps Lovebirds Rehab Home-Wrecking Hounds, Puts Army Dogs in Basic Training and Crosses the 150th Episode Milestone During New Season Premiering Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 8 PM ET/PT

WASHINGTON, Jan. 3, 2012 -- New Year! New network! New season! Same Cesar! Nat Geo WILD becomes the proud owner of a new season of the impeccably well-behaved hit series Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan this January. The show is back bigger and bolder than ever, with unique stories and intense situations that once again put Cesar's rehabilitation skills to the test.

Debuting this Saturday, January 7, 2012, with back-to-back episodes beginning at 8 PM ET/PT on Nat Geo WILD, Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan returns with 10 all-new episodes that document Cesar's amazing ability to rehab problem pooches. For season eight of the People's Choice Award-winning series, each episode brings a theme of problem behaviors and challenging cases testing Cesar's calm and assertive mantra.

Highlights include an episode focusing on dogs suffering from phobias and obsessions, a visit to Fort Hood, Texas, where Cesar takes a handful of four-legged army brats back to boot camp, an intervention for ex-gang members who have turned their lives around but still battle turf wars with their dogs at home, and a special Valentine's Day edition -- which is also the 150th episode of the hit series -- featuring home-wrecker dogs and the couples who love them. No scenario is too much for Cesar to handle. He rehabilitates dogs and trains people to achieve a balanced and natural relationship between humans and their pets.

The series also crosses a new milestone, marking its 150th episode in February. After reviewing nearly 4,000 audition tapes, the Dog Whisperer has traveled to 211 cities in four countries to personally work with over 450 dogs, ensuring that the series joins the ranks of few other cable shows in marking its success.

Dog Whisperer has been nominated for an Emmy for Best Reality Series three times, and has won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Animal Show.
