New York, NY -January 11, 2012- Due to an overwhelming response, Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live) and Carrie Brownstein (Wild Flag, Sleater-Kinney) from IFC's hit original comedy Portlandia have just added a third week to their sold out live tour hitting six new cities. The second season of Portlandia premiered last Friday and is one of the most talked about series of the New Year with Salon calling it the "smartest sketch comedy show on TV."

Portlandia: The Tour features Armisen and Brownstein, the co-creators, writers and stars of Portlandia, bringing their romanticized and dreamy rendering of Portland, OR to life. They perform live music, present special clips from the show's second season, share personal anecdotes about the creation and inspiration of Portlandia and even bring along surprise special guests in each market.
