"TRUE JUSTICE" STARRING STEVEN SEAGAL SET TO PREMIERE ON REELZCHANNEL

REELZ' First Original Dramatic Series to Premiere Friday, March 30, 2012 at 9pm ET and at 9pm PT

(Albuquerque, NM) Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - REELZCHANNEL - TV About Movies(R) today announced its first original scripted series True Justice, starring Steven Seagal, premieres Friday, March 30, 2012 at 9pm ET and at 9pm PT. Season 1 of True Justice on REELZ features 13 episodes with new episodes premiering Fridays on REELZ at 9pm ET and at 9pm PT. Encore presentations of True Justice episodes will air on Saturdays at 1am ET/ 10pm PT and Sundays at 7pm ET and at 7pm PT.

In Episode 1, Elijah Kane (Seagal) and his special investigation team are on the case of a double homicide just as a dirty cop gets involved with Russian drug lord, Nikoli Putin (Gil Bellows). And new cop, Sarah Montgomery (Sarah Lind), is added to the team.

Produced by Sojo Productions and Voltage Pictures in association with Steamroller Productions, True Justice stars Seagal as Elijah Kane who leads a hardcore undercover team of Seattle based cops who take on the local criminal element with a high-octane style of enforcement. Kane and his team will take on gangs, drug lords and crime syndicates as they fight to clean up the streets.

True Justice also stars Sarah Lind (Edgemont, Personal Effects, Blade) as rookie Deputy Sarah Montgomery eager to earn respect from the team and bent on making a life in the police force. Warren Christie (Battlestar Galactica, Alphas) stars as Deputy Brett Radner who comes from a long line of cops and has a serious penchant for being a loose canon while Meghan Ory (Once Upon a Time, Smallville) is an attractive, yet hard-nosed policewoman whose fiery tendencies are kept in check by boss Kane. Deputy Andre Mason is a by-the-book cop whose dedication to the law is surpassed only by the love for his pregnant wife. Played by William "Big Sleeps" Stewart (The Day the Earth Stood Still, Sanctuary) Deputy Mason is constantly battling trying to juggle career and family.

True Justice provides a perfect platform for REELZ to integrate and demonstrate its unique approach to TV About Movies(R). As the series approaches, REELZ will take viewers inside the intensity of the series with behind-the-scenes exclusives on Hollywood Dailies and REELZ specials exploring the movie career of True Justice star Steven Seagal. Each episode of True Justice will feature a "Seagal in 60 Seconds" report highlighting one of his movies and informing viewers where they can watch the movie on Video On Demand, PPV and premium television. Additionally, Naked Trailers will show the uncut, full-length theatrical trailers for several of Seagal's movies as well as episodes dedicated trailers for action movies.
