CBS SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2012 NFL PRESEASON GAMES THE NFL ON CBS Preseason Schedule Kicks Off with Super Bowl Champion New York Giants Hosting Chicago Bears Live in Prime Time on Friday, August 24 Houston Texans Take On New Orleans Saints for THE NFL ON CBS's Second Preseason Game Following Night on August 25 on CBS Television Network The CBS Television Network, home of Super Bowl XLVII, is scheduled to begin its 53rd year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2012 season. The preseason schedule for THE NFL ON CBS begins on Friday, Aug. 24 (8:00 PM, ET) when the Super Bowl champion New York Giants hosts the Chicago Bears live in prime time on the CBS Television Network. THE NFL ON CBS will conclude its two-game preseason schedule the following night as the AFC South champion Houston Texans take on the NFC South champion New Orleans Saints live in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 25 (8:00 PM, ET).
