ABC Gives Second Season to "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23"

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has renewed its midseason comedy "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" for a second season.

Co-star James Van Der Beek celebrated the news on his Twitter account, saying "#Apt23 IS GETTING A 2ND SEASON!!! So happy America is as demented as we are!"

"Apartment 23" has been the top scripted show among adults 18-34 and women 18-34 in its Wednesday, 9:30/8:30c slot for all but one of its telecasts.

The show's freshman order consisted of 13 episodes, meaning six installments will carry over into next season.
