AWARDS SHOW TO SIMULCAST ON FUSE JUNE 17th at 9pm ET

New York, NY, May 23, 2012 - Fuse, the national music television network of the Madison Square Garden Company, along with MuchMusic, announced today that global superstars Justin Bieber, Nelly Furtado, Carly Rae Jepsen and Marianas Trench will be rocking the MuchMusic stage at this year's awards show. Fuse will touch down in Toronto to broadcast the "2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS" for the third year in a row on Sunday, June 17th at 9 pm ET. These MMVA artists join previously announced performances by Katy Perry and electro-pop duo, LMFAO. In addition, LMFAO will be shufflin' their way to the MuchMusic HQ to co-host the not-to-be-missed event. Additional MMVA performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

The night will kick off with a star-studded Red Carpet special at 8pm ET followed by the main event, the "2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS," at 9pm ET. Immediately after the show, fans can stay tuned for a sneak peak of Fuse's new weekly half-hour show, "Offbeat," featuring the funniest and most outrageous music-themed Internet videos and viewer-created clips, hosted by comedian Mike E. Winfield.

More than 10,000 fans descended on MuchMusic HQ for last year's MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS to celebrate with an A-list group of stars, including Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Colin Farrell, The Black Keys, Snoop Dogg, Avril Lavigne and co-host Selena Gomez, as well as scores of other artists and celebs who performed, presented, and accepted awards.
