AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Sitcom veteran James Burrows will segue from "Mike & Molly" to "Partners" as executive producer/in-house director (Deadline.com); Lifetime is mulling Marc Cherry's ABC Studios drama pilot "Devious Maids," which ABC passed on earlier this month (Deadline.com); former "Bent" co-executive producer DJ Nash has inked a two-year overall deal with Universal Television, where he'll join the studio's "Up All Night" as an executive producer (Deadline.com); Robert Patrick's Master Chief Joseph Prosser has been upped to series regular on ABC's upcoming "Last Resort" (TVLine.com); "The Middle" supervising producer Vijal Patel has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with ABC Studios where he'll serve as a co-executive producer on newcomer "The Family Tools" (Deadline.com); "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke has been tapped to helm the fourth installment of "Hell on Wheels" this season (EW.com); and William Baldwin's Beyond Comprehension banner is developing Reza Kahlili's spy thriller "A Time to Betray" as a limited series (Variety.com).
