CBS Revives "Unforgettable" for Summer 2013

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS has made it official: "Unforgettable" will return to the network next summer.
The news, confirmed via a network spokesperson, comes a month after the Poppy Montgomery-led hour got the axe from the Eye.
Producers CBS Television Studios and Sony Pictures Television were previously in talks with TNT and Lifetime to pick up the series before rumblings of a 13-episode revival began last week.
"I don't know necessarily what went wrong, it was more about what went right with the new pilots," CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler told reporters last month about the initial decision to cancel the show. "It started really strong at the beginning of the season. I think they were continuing to produce some great episodes. Every show knows when they get to the end of their first season they are going to be in competition with pilots and that's what happened."
